Fostex promoted at the T-CREPE e-seminar for trainers

The aim of the Erasmus+ project “Textile Engineering for Co-creation Paradigms in Education”, in short T-CREPE, is to develop an innovative web-based, open-source platform to support co-creation-based learning and coaching in remote teaching environments with a focus on entrepreneurship in textile design engineering. The platform is based on the constructionist learning theory and the principle of game-based learning.

By utilising the Design Thinking methodology, student teams together with stakeholders co-develop solutions for real life problems from within society and/or industry through play. The project sets out to make coaching and learning for university students and educators more effective, playful and time-efficient.

Professor Georgios Priniotakis, reference person for FOSTEX at University of West Attica (UNIWA), caught the opportunity to present the activities of FOSTEX project during the e-seminar “Focus on students – feelings of ownership in co-creation” which took place from November 9 to 13, 2020. The event offered a great occasion to disseminate the FOSTEX results to a broad, international audience and allow some important networking beyond the direct stakeholders of the consortium.

Are you a university-level educator/instructor of project-based courses that include the Design Thinking methodology as a general learning framework? Are you an industrial partner with an idea for a project within textile design engineering? Have a look at the t-crepe website for more details and how to get involved.
